Requirements

FLOE requires for en-/decryption the following library.

Please check the "System information" module if it is installed on your server.

Some other features also require some libraries and extensions.

Encrypted files

Files with the extension *.floe are encrypted for security reasons. The files were distributed encrypted and are decrypted by FLOE on-the-fly by retrieving them. These files are also not editable to prevent misusage and bad manipulation which could cause system malfunctions.

Protected files

The PHP scripts are protected by the phpSHIELD. This software uses a byte-code encryption technology for highest security and prevention from decompiling. No additional software is needed. The decryption of the scripts is done by files called "loaders" like described below.
